OFIS is quickly becoming a trusted authority for Ontario independent school consulting on a wide range of operational issues. We can provide additional email, telephone and on-site professional development support to independent schools on a variety of issues - governance, financial wellness, marketing, human resources, policy development. Depending on membership level, member schools have first priority, with respect to access & cost, to additional consultation services from the experienced OFIS panel of experts. ALL schools that would are interested in using additional resources, presentations and/or consultation services (above regular OFIS Professional Development sessions) should contact the OFIS office for an individual quote to include price & availability.

*Schools may call or email the OFIS office for an initial brief consultation on an individual school issue – these initial requests will always be directed as a complimentary OFIS service

*Matters That Require More Than 1 Consultation By Telephone/Email Will Be Calculated On An Hourly Rate Using Rates Below

Initial Assessment & Recommendations Based On Preliminary Consultation Request:
*Schools will receive a telephone and email response containing assessment details and recommendations and further direction if required – timelines vary depending upon request :
OFIS Members - FREE - (1 hour provided)
Non-Members - $100.00 - (1 hour provided)
*Assessments & Recommendations That Require More Than 1 Hour Preparation Time Will Be Calculated Hourly Using Rates Below ($100/hr for members & $200/hr for non-members)

Professional Development Resources (ie. Annual Policy Index, New Principal Orientation Package - new in 2011 – individually requested Policy Templates):
*OFIS distributes certain resources automatically to members – all others available upon request
OFIS Members - Mostly FREE!
Non-Members - Not Available Without Membership
*Some resources have small reproduction costs because they are not available electronically

On-site Professional Development Sessions (Individual Schools):
*Schools may complete the OFIS Consultation Request Form (available upon request) for professional development events to be run at their schools for their own staff

full-day - $600.00 (+ $15/pp for materials)
*Hourly Session Rate - $100/hr + $15/pp for materials

Non-Members
half-day - $500.00 ( + $20/pp for materials)
