Schools in Development
OFIS offers a special membership for K-12 schools that are in the process of opening and have not yet received a BSID number from the Ministry of Education. OFIS membership provides Schools in Development essential support as they navigate the details of opening a new school in Ontario.

The OFIS Principals Course Part 1 is an introduction to the foundations of Ontario independent school operations, governance, and management.
All are welcome and OFIS membership is not required.
OFIS Members have access to further resources that support new schools during their development, as well as special member rates for professional development courses.
